- Desktop install: an installer matching your OS and CPU from GitHub Releases (.dmg for macOS, .exe for Windows, .AppImage for Linux)
- Source development: Git, Node.js 22 or newer, pnpm 11 (enabled via `corepack enable`), Bun 1.3.10 or newer, plus platform build tools (Xcode Command Line Tools on macOS, VS 2022 Build Tools with C++ on Windows, an Electron C/C++ build environment on Linux)
